people all over the world are coming together to remember nelson mandela. as a nation in the world mourns the loss of this iconic statesman, south africa will hold a weeklong celebration. world leaders, including president obama, were in attendance at the memorial service this morning. let's go live with david mackenzie who is in johannesburg, south africa. >> his passing is a time of morning. this is a time to celebrate a historic life. >> president barack obama is one of dozens of dignitaries that are remembering his life. he passed away at age 95. thousands packed into this stadium to bid farewell. this is the same stadium that he spoke when he was in prison. >> when it rains, it means that the gates of heaven are opening. >> what they were sad, the leader, it was more like a celebration. those who knew mandela then have a lot of memories. maligne >> he gave us hope, when there was none. >> that hope inspired millions. the more you brought people together. this included president obama who shut hands with the other presidents. >> while i will always fall
